Born in 1947 in Long Island, New York, Donald Buck Dharma Roeser was an American Guitarist and songwriter. Buck Dharma was a member of the Band “Blue Oyster Cult” ever since its inception in 1967.

Buck Dharma has played many hit numbers such as “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and “Burning for you” etc for his band. He also sang lead vocal on numerous occasions. Buck Dharma spent his early childhood listening to his father play the Saxophone. Buck Dharma’s father was an accomplished Jazz Saxophonist. Buck Dharma initially started with playing the drums, but as fate would have it, he had an accident while playing basketball and fractured his left wrist as a result of which playing the drums became a difficulty. Buck Dharma then slowly started experimenting the guitar while recovering from the wrist injury and later realized that his true calling was in the guitar and went on to become one of the Legendary icons in Rock music.

Buck Dharma used to play the Gibson SG and many other customs Steinberger models. Buck Dharma got his nickname when their Band’s Manager Mr. Sandy Pearlman wanted each of the artists to have a unique Stage name and Roeser was the first to opt for it and hence has remained thus.

 

Bryce Avary grew up in Colleyville, Texas, learning the guitar (which his Dad gifted him) at the age of 10 during which time Bryce Avary learnt different other instruments as well. As a teenager he performed in Dallas and Fort Worth and released his first EP at the age of 16. Bryce Avary first tryst with success was when the local “Adventure Club” segment of the KDGE Radio Station aired his music, which went on to become the most sought after local Band on the program that year.

With rising popularity and his EP being sold across 5 continents, Bryce Avary recorded his debut Album “Calendar Days” in Kansas on a minimum budget of around USD 15,000.  Though the album sold well in the United States, it was critically praised as being uplifting and having varied music. Bryce Avary started his own Rock Band known as “Rocket Summer” which was an Indie / pop band. The main highlight of his band is that Bryce Avary himself plays every instrument himself, and he himself makes up the entire band that is The Rocket Summer. They have toured with the “Vans Warped Tour” during the summer of 2007 and the band was mostly made up of Bryce Avary’s high school friends.

Bryce Avary lives with his wife, Tara, who accompanies him on all his tours and concerts as a Business Manager and also sells his merchandise at the shows. When Bryce was asked with what he would have done if he were not a musician for which he replied, "I'm deathly afraid of 'not' doing this because I have no idea what I would."

Brody Dalle, born Bree Leslie Pucilowski in 1979 in Melbourne, Australia is a singer, songwriter and guitarist specializing in Punk Rock Genre. Brody Dalle who’s currently the founder of the rock band Spinnerette, first founded the band called  Sourpuss. 

Later Brody Dalle was with another band called “The Distillers” which got dismantled in 2006 and then she started this new band “Spinnerette” comprising mainly of Tony Bevilac Qua (an fellow Distillers member), Jack Irons of “Red Hot Chilli Peppers” fame and Pearl Jam Drummer Alain Johannes. Brody Dalle was 13 when she founded “Sourpuss” band which had quite a huge fan base and had played alongside Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth at Australia's Summersault Festival.

It was in the year 2000 that “The Distillers” released their first music Album which received great acclaim. They released their second album “Sing Sing Death House” in 2002 from which they also released 2 singles “The young Crazed Peeling” and “City of Angels”. Brody initially had a relationship with Tim Armstrong who was the frontman for the band “Rancid” and got engaged when she was 18. Brody Dalle toured with him all over Australia and the United States. She later got divorced in 2003 and married Josh Homme, who’s currently the frontman for the band Queens of the Stone Age.

Bryan Sutton is an American musician known for his flatpicked acoustic guitar playing. Bryan Sutton plays many instruments like mandolin, Banjo and Electric Guitar, but he’s more considered as an Acoustic Guitar player.  Bryan Sutton has toured with the likes of “Dixie Chicks”, “Sam bush”, Tony Rice etc. In 2007, he toured with Chris Thile & How to grow a band, which he was a replacement for Chris Eldridge who was on a tour with “Infamous Stringdusters. Bryan Sutton first started off by being a part of the Blue Grass Band Kentucky Thunder which he later left to concentrate on session work. Bryan Sutton became a first-call Nashville session player due to his fluency in multiple music styles.

Sutton grew up near Ashville, North Carolina watching his father and grandfather play the musical instruments. His father was a Rhythm guitar player and could also play the banjo. Bryan Sutton father presented him a plastic guitar when he was 3 years old and he would strum the guitar while his father was practising with his band in their living room. His father was a big influence on him during his younger days. When Bryan Sutton was 8 years old, he used to sit with his father to learn the guitar and later his family formed a small band

Bryan Sutton used to play with his family band during his High school days and went on to  extend his musical interests to learning Jazz guitars and playing electric guitar. He later began playing as a studio musician in gospel music. Bryan Sutton also performs regularly with a 1940 Martin D-28. Although presently Bryan Sutton’s busy working with the Kentucky Thunder, he’s still keeps touch with his sessions work since he plans to keep this as his base for the future.

 

Brodie Foster Hubbard was born in 1978 and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He is an American Country music and Rock singer, songwriter and a guitarist. He later moved to Los Angeles, California. Brodie Foster Hubbard played alongside with Punk Rock and Hardcore Punk Rock bands for several years. In October 1999 he made a switch to playing his own compositions in Solo capacity that got Brodie recognition for his catchy hooks, personal lyrics and his Guitar playing style.

Brodie Foster Hubbard started off his career playing the Indie pop music and after his divorce he plunged into a more intense, darker materials such as Murder Ballads,  something which he said was ‘Outlaw Country’ which he later dubbed it as his own version of “Outlaw Indie Rock”.  Brodie’s songs and lyrics have had significant connection with domestic voilence, revenge, comparisons between love and heartbreak strangulation, stabbings etc. For example one of his songs like “No Faith” had visuals like bludgeoning of a man by shovel and desert burial of a man caught sleeping with the lover of the song's narrator. Hubbard wears a tatoo that depicts a broken heart surrounded by his initials on his right shoulder which later went on to become his logo.

Hubbard later went on to become a Music Promoter and a Political Activist back in Phoenix, Arizona. He has been involved in some political activities like working with Irish Human Rights Coalition. On Sept 11, 2002, he held a concert to raise funds for the “Revolutionary Association of Women of Afghanistan” which incidintally also marked the first anniversary of the Sept 11th attacks on World Trade Centre.

Brodie Hubbard is a fan of country icons such as Johnny Cash and Pasty Cline.  He now continues to play shows in Los Angeles and of late he has been making forays into pursuing a career in film production and television. He also appeared in a role as a Drug Dealer for a movie called  “The Weathered Underground”.
