Chad Kroeger initially started playing guitar in a cover band. Chad wanted to play for his own songs, so with the collection of his songs he went to Vancouver to record the band in a friend’s studio. Based on the results, Chad Kroeger formed the band ‘Nickelback’ with his brother Mike Kroeger on bass, lead guitarist Ryan Peake and their cousin Brandon Kroeger on drums in Hanna, Alberta. In 1996, the band relocated to Vancouver, released Extended Play ‘Hesher’ and their debut album ‘Curb’ and pushed their album by cross-country touring.

Chad Kroeger performed the theme song titled “Hero” for the blockbuster movie ‘Spider-Man’ in 2002 along with ‘Theory of a Deadman’ guitarist Tyler Connolly, ‘Saliva’ vocalist Josey Scott and ‘Pearl Jam’ drummer Matt Cameron.  Chad Kroeger founded a record label ‘604 Records’ along with attorney Jonathan Walvatne in the year 2002 and the bands which are currently signed to the label are ‘Armchair Cynics’, ‘Marianas Temple’, ‘Thornley’, ‘Theory of a Deadman’ and ‘The Organ’. Kroeger wrote a song ‘Why Don’t You & I’ and featured in the album ‘Shaman’ of Carlos Sanatan’s band ‘Santana’ in 2002.

Chad Kroeger suggested Alex Band, a solo musician as a replacement for re-recording the single ‘Why Don’t You & I’ in 2004. Kroeger wrote and played guitar in the album ‘You’re Everything’, a debut album of Bo Bice.

Chad Kroeger featured on the second solo album ‘The Ride’ and played on the song ‘Trying to be Me’ of Tommy Lee in 2005. He played his first single ‘Into the Night’ for Carlos Sanatan’s album ‘Ultimate Santana' which was released on August 20, 2007.

Carlos Augusto Alves Santana is a composer, singer, guitarist and Grammy Award-winning Mexican-American Latin rock musician born on July 20, 1947 in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico.

Carlos Santana is currently working with his old friend Marcelo Vieira, on his solo album ‘Marcelo Vieira’s Acoustic Sounds’.

His father, Jose, was a professional mariachi violinist; Carlos started playing violin at the age of five and he sometimes performed in mariachi orchestra of his father. When Carlos was at the age of nine his family moved to Tijuana, the border city between Mexico and California where he got interested in the guitar, rock and roll, blues music and rhythm and blues. He soon started performing with the bands in Tijuana area.

Carlos Santana moved to San Francisco, California with his family at the age of thirteen. In 1965, he graduated from ‘Mission High School’. Carlos enjoyed the music scene in San Francisco and got a chance to see his favorite musical artist like ‘Muddy Waters’ and ‘The Grateful Dead’ in ‘Fillmore Auditorium of Bill Graham.

In the late 1966, Carlos Santana formed the band ‘Santana’ (also known as Santana Blues Band’) with Tom Frazier on guitar, Rod Harper on drums, Mike Carabello on percussion, Gregg Rolie on organ/vocals and Gus Rodriguez on bass guitar. The band with their highly successful blend of salsa, blues, jazz fusion and rock became quickly popular in San Francisco.

Before the release of their first album they got a chance of performing in the ‘Woodstock Music and Art Festival’ as Bill Graham convinced the promoters to let them appear on the stage and that was one of the surprises of the festival. The band’s popularity increased after their eleven-minute instrumental ‘Soul Sacrifice’ in the Woodstock film and IJIIsoundtrack albums.

The band released their first debut album ‘Santana’ in 1969 which became a big hit and reached number four on the U.S. album charts. They also recorded for Willie Bobo’s song ‘Evil Ways’ which reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100, singles popularity chart of ‘Billboard Magazine’. Santana’s second album ‘Abraxas’ was a big hit and went on to sell over four million copies and reached number one on the albums chart.

The album ‘Abraxas’ included English band Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Black Magic Woman’, became an international hit with his innovative musical blend and Tito Puente’s ‘Oye Como Va’ hit out of salsa legend and numbered four and thirteen on album charts.

In 1973, Carlos Santana married Deborah king, daughter of the late blues singer and guitarist Saunders King. They have three children Stella, Angelica and Salvador. Carlos Santana founded a nonprofit organization ‘The Milagro Foundation’ with his wife Deborah. The organization provides financial aid for medical, educational and other needs.

He released the album ‘Supernatural’ in 1999,  which included the collaboration with Rob Thomas, Everlast, Lauryn Hill, Cee-Lo, Eric Clapton, Wyclef Jean, Dave Mathews, Mana and others. The album ‘Supernatural’ won him nine Grammy Awards of which eight for Santana personally. Santana’s ‘The Game of Love’ in the album ‘Shaman’ won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.

Carlos Santana was named fifteenth in the “List of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” on Rolling Stone magazine in August 2003. He was ranked number five on the “List of the 100 Greatest Rock and Roll Artist of All Time’ by Rolling Stone magazine in 2004.

Carlo Marchione is an Italian classical guitarist born in 1964 in Rome, Italy.

Carlo Marchione currently teaches at the Conservatory Maastricht in Netherlands.

Carlo Marchione learnt guitar from masters L. Cauzzo and L. Galuzzi at the age of 10. He enrolled at ‘Conservatorio Santa Cecilia’, the oldest musical institution. He got 1st place out of the 100 applicants in the entrance exam and entered the class of Master Mario Gangi. In 1983, he completed his studies with honors.

Carlos Alomar learnt guitar at the age of ten and started his professional career at the age of sixteen. Carlos performed in ‘Amateur Hour’ at the ‘Apollo Theater’ in the 1960s and later joined the House Band. He formed a group called ‘Listen My Brother’ in 1969 with vocalists Fonzi Thornton, Luther Vandross and Robin Clark.

Carlos Alomar played for RCA Recording Studios as a session musician and worked with many other artists like ‘Ben E. King and Joe Simon. He later joined the band ‘The Main Ingredient’ and toured with them. In early 1974, during the sessions for Lulu’s recording of the Bowie song ‘Can You Hear Me?’, Carlos met David Bowie. David Bowie wanted  Carlos Alomar  to join his band for the ‘Diamond Dogs’ tour and negotiated with the management of ‘The Main Ingredient’, Alomar stayed back with the same band as the negotiation delayed.

Carlos Alomar recorded a series of songs in ‘Sigma Sound Studios’ for a new album of David Bowie in mid 1974 for which Carlos brought in his group mates, Luther Vandross, Robin Clark, bassist Emir Kassan and Davis. Most of the songs recorded in this session were for David Bowie’s album ‘Young Americans’ after which Alomar joined Bowie’s band for second tour of the ‘Diamond Dogs’ in September and December 1974. David Bowie got inspired the guitar riff of Carlos Alomar and recorded an impromptu song ‘Fame’ in January 1975 which reached number one position on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, singles popularity chart of Billboard magazine.

Carlos Alomar has performed with many other musicians like Chuck Berry, Paul McCartney, James Brown, Mike Jagger, Argentine Rock en Español legends Soda Stereo and Iggy Pop. He was the bandleader for a TV chat show ‘The Caroline Rhea Show’ which lived for a short period between 2002 and 2003. Carlos Alomar has played on 32 gold and platinum albums totally.

Carla Bozulich is an American musician born in New York City and based in Los Angeles. She is the founding member of the band ‘Ethyl Meatplow’ and she is known for her work as the lead singer of the band ‘The Geraldine Fibbers’.

Carla Bozulich started her musical career in 1982 by giving her first performance in Gary Kail’s album ‘Creative Nihilism’. She has played in various bands like “Invisible Chains”, “Neon Veins”, “Scott Amendola Band”, “The Book of Knots”, “The Night Porter”, “The Nels Cline Singers”, “Scarnella”, “Geraldine Fibbers” and “Ethyl Meatplow”. Carla has given live performances with many musicians, which include Watt, Christian Marclay, Thurston Moore, Carla Kihstedt, Wilco, Wayne Kramer, Italian guitarist Simone Massaron, Okyyung Lee and others.

Carla Bozulich founded the band ‘Geraldine Fibbers’ in 1994, which initially included Daniel Keenan, William Tutton, Kevin Fitzgerald and Jessy Greene. The bands music was a combination of American roots music and blues-influenced punk. Keenan and Greene departed from the band in 1996; Nels Cline replaced them as the band was shifting to a more guitar-rock sound. Two more members joined the band, Jessica Moss and Leyna Marika on violin. The band released many singles, albums and EP’s.

Carla Bozulich gave the performances at two “All Tomorrows Parties” festivals and at two “Bad Bonn Kilbi” festivals as a solo artist. She performed “The Ballad of the Lily of Hall’ at the Meltdown Festival in London which is the composition of Bertolt Brecht/Kurt Julian Weill.

Carla Bozulich released her album ‘Evangelista’ on Constellation Records which received high praise and lead the band to tour around Europe and North America. Carla’s project was officially named as ‘Evangelista’ in 2007 and released two albums ‘Hello’ and ‘Voyager’ under this name.
