Bryce Avary grew up in Colleyville, Texas, learning the guitar (which his Dad gifted him) at the age of 10 during which time Bryce Avary learnt different other instruments as well. As a teenager he performed in Dallas and Fort Worth and released his first EP at the age of 16. Bryce Avary first tryst with success was when the local “Adventure Club” segment of the KDGE Radio Station aired his music, which went on to become the most sought after local Band on the program that year.
With rising popularity and his EP being sold across 5 continents, Bryce Avary recorded his debut Album “Calendar Days” in Kansas on a minimum budget of around USD 15,000. Though the album sold well in the United States, it was critically praised as being uplifting and having varied music. Bryce Avary started his own Rock Band known as “Rocket Summer” which was an Indie / pop band. The main highlight of his band is that Bryce Avary himself plays every instrument himself, and he himself makes up the entire band that is The Rocket Summer. They have toured with the “Vans Warped Tour” during the summer of 2007 and the band was mostly made up of Bryce Avary’s high school friends.
Bryce Avary lives with his wife, Tara, who accompanies him on all his tours and concerts as a Business Manager and also sells his merchandise at the shows. When Bryce was asked with what he would have done if he were not a musician for which he replied, "I'm deathly afraid of 'not' doing this because I have no idea what I would."
