Brody Dalle, born Bree Leslie Pucilowski in 1979 in Melbourne, Australia is a singer, songwriter and guitarist specializing in Punk Rock Genre. Brody Dalle who’s currently the founder of the rock band Spinnerette, first founded the band called Sourpuss.
Later Brody Dalle was with another band called “The Distillers” which got dismantled in 2006 and then she started this new band “Spinnerette” comprising mainly of Tony Bevilac Qua (an fellow Distillers member), Jack Irons of “Red Hot Chilli Peppers” fame and Pearl Jam Drummer Alain Johannes. Brody Dalle was 13 when she founded “Sourpuss” band which had quite a huge fan base and had played alongside Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth at Australia's Summersault Festival.
It was in the year 2000 that “The Distillers” released their first music Album which received great acclaim. They released their second album “Sing Sing Death House” in 2002 from which they also released 2 singles “The young Crazed Peeling” and “City of Angels”. Brody initially had a relationship with Tim Armstrong who was the frontman for the band “Rancid” and got engaged when she was 18. Brody Dalle toured with him all over Australia and the United States. She later got divorced in 2003 and married Josh Homme, who’s currently the frontman for the band Queens of the Stone Age.
