David plays the fictional character according to the rock band Spinal Tap. He also is the lead singer and co-lead guitarist. This fictional character was obtained from the mockumentary filim “This Is Spinal Tap” which was released in 1984.
David Ivor St. Hubbins was born in 1943 in Squatney, London, England. He met his fellow Spinal Tap member Nigel Tufnel who lived next door in his flat. At an early age of 7 and 8 both Nigel and David started working on music together. Soon musically addicted, Nigel Tufnel and David Hubbins left school and started playing Tube Station Skiffle. Nigel and David recorded their first song in the year 1955. He was just 12. They had written the song “(Cry) All the Way Home.”
David had his divorce after which he married Jeanine Pettibone who was his long time girlfriend. Jeanine was addicted to astrology and she made him believe that his life changed from shambles because of Jeanine and her astrological faith. Jeanine and David were divorced in early 2000 and remained friends again.
David is working on a long time project, an Icelandic album called Bjork which has not yet been released. This album is of Broadway tunes.
Dean Parks is a guitarist and studio musician. He worked mostly with Steely Dan albums.
He has also worked with Cat Beach on a series of songs. Dean Parks wrote songs and music for the movies like “The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation”, “Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story”, “Bowfinger”, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, “Letting Go” and “The Big Bounce”.
His wife Carol Parks is also a musician who plays along with him. He has been blessed with two daughters, Acacia and Amanda.
David Scott Stone is a musician who has worked with a dozen of bands and artists. He is sometimes refered to as Sir DSS. He is a member of the band Slug from the year 1993 – 1996. He is also the founding member of Get Hustle which was active from 1996 through the year 2000.
He works on a variety of musical instruments like the guitars, oscillators, electric thundersheets, electric long thin wire and analog synthesizers. Due to his addiction to varied instruments and electronics he has toured as noise maker, synth and effects producer with various bands and recordings.
