Joshua Michael Homme is an American Rock musician born on May 17, 1973 in Joshua Tree, California. Joshua Homme is a multi-instrumentalist and is known for contributing to play the drums, bass and keyboard.

Joshua Homme is the founding member and only continuous member of the hard rock band “Queens of the Stone Age” and the desert rock band “Kyuss”. He also formed the band “Eagles of Death Metal’ along with Jesse Hughes.

Joshua Homme grew up in the suburbs of Palm Desert and learnt playing guitar at the age of nine. At the age of 14 in 1987, Homme formed a local stoner band “Sons of Kyuss”, which was later shortened to “Kyuss”, the band released several recordings and became popular in the early 1990s.

Joshua Homme got split from the band “kyuss” in 1995. He later joined the grunge act “The Screaming Trees” as their second guitarist and went on tour. Homme and lead guitarist of “The Screaming Trees”, Mark Lanegan became close friends during this tour. Homme formed the band “Queens of the Stone Age” and recruited Mark Lanegan as an additional vocalist. In 1998, the band released their eponymous debut album, which followed with several EP’s and singles. Homme has used much of graphic language and toyed with multiple genres for his first album “Deaf” with Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA). QOTSA released their fifth full length album “Era Vulgaris” in June 2007, which includes Homme’s latest work with the band.

Joseph Milligan is currently works as a lead guitarist with the band “Anberlin”.

Joseph Milligan was originally working as a guitarist with the band “SaGoh 24/7” (SaGoh – Servants after God’s own heart).

The “SaGoh 24/7”, a Christian punk band was formed by lead singer Stephen Christian and bassist Deon Rexroat while they were studying in middle school. Later they included guitarist “Joseph Milligan” and drummer “Sean Hutson” to the band and released two albums under Rescue Records, ‘Servants After God’s Own Heart’ in 1999 and ‘Then I Corrupt Youth’ in 2001. Drummer Sean Hutson was replaced by Nathan Young as Hutson left the band to start a family. Joseph Milligan started working on an acoustic side project along with Stephan Christian. They included more of rock sound to it as Joseph Milligan suggested and later transformed the band name into “Anberlin”.

“Anberlin” was officially formed in 2002 and released their first debut album “Blueprints for the Black Market” in 2003. The album “Blueprints for the Black Market” failed to chart, but the single “Readyfuels” from the album was successful and sold over 60,000 units. The current members of the band include, lead singer Stephen Christian, drummer Nathan Young, bassist Deon Rexroat, lead guitarist Joseph Milliagan and guitarist Christian McAlhaney.

Jorn Viggo Lofstad is a guitarist, songwriter and producer from Skien, Norway. He is best known for his work with the band “Pagan’s Mind”.

Jorn Viggo Lofstad is currently working with “Pagan’s Mind”.

Jorn Viggo Lofstad had great interest in rhythms and music from his young age. He got influenced by the heavy metal bands like “King Diamond”, “Metallica” and “Dio”. Lofstad learnt guitar and joined a local cover band “Cry Free” at the age of 14. He composed a song when he was 15/16 and performed with the band “Mortification” along with his high school friends. Later in 1990s, Jorn Viggo Lofstad played in several bands ranging from Classic Hard Rock to Thrash Metal.

In 2000, the local band “Silverspoon” was founded by vocalist Nils K. Rue, drummer Stian Kristoffersen and guitarist Thorstein Aaby. The band released their first album “Infinity Divine” in the same year and was fairly successful. The band members were unhappy with its name and changed the band name to “Pagan’s Mind”. Jorn Viggo Lofstad was asked to join the band, for which he agreed and brought Ronny Tegner and Steinar Krokmo with him. The current members of the band include: Jorn Viggo Lofstad on guitar, Ronny Tegner on keyboards, Nils K. Rue on vocals and Steinar Krokmo on bass. In 2002, they released their second album “Celestial Entrance” for which most of the songs was composed by Jorn Viggo Lofstad.

Jorn Viggo Lostad has also worked in a side project “Beautiful Sin”. Beautiful Sin was formed by the heavy metal drummer Uli Kusch (founder of ‘Masterplan’, a German-American power metal band and former member of ‘Helloween’ band) and Belgian Singer Magali Luyten.

Jorn Viggo Lofstad has also worked with the band ‘Jorn’. Jorn Viggo Lofstad became a big fan of hard rock singer Jorn Lande since 1994. Lofstad was impressed with Jorn’s singing when he first heard him in a hard rock band ‘Vagabond.’. Jorn Viggo Lofstad invited Jorn Lande to come and do a gig with Pagan’s Mind members, for which he agreed and did the gig. Jorn Viggo Lofstad was asked to join the album ‘Jorn’ by Jorn Lande, which he agreed and performed with him.

Jorn Viggo Lofstad has performed in the album “Master of Illusion” of power metal band ‘Power Quest’ which was released on May 13, 2008.

Jorma Ludwik Kaukonen Jr. is an American folk, blues and rock guitarist born on December 23, 1940 in Washington, D.C.

Jorma Kaukonen is currently working with “Hot Tuna”.

Jorma Kaukonen was born to a Jewish American mother and Finnish American father, who were employed by the U.S. Foreign Service. Jorma Kaukonen learnt guitar while he was doing his studies in “Santa Clara University” in San Francisco and started playing backup to singer “Janis Joplin” in local clubs in the early 1960s. Jorma recorded a number of blues standard tracks with Janis Joplin which was later accompanied by Margareta Koukonen and was released as the bootleg album “The Typewriter Tape” in 1964. He was invited to play in an American rock band “Jefferson Airplane” by his old friend Paul Kantner and is known for his notable work with the band. Jorma later became one of the founding members of the band.

Jorma Kaukonen formed the blues rock band “Hot Tuna” along with bassist Jack Casady in 1969. The band members included Jorma on guitar, Marty Balin on vocal, Jack Casady on bass and Joey Covington on drums and vocals. Their debut album was all acoustic and recorded live. Hot Tuna became more popular after the dissolution of “Jefferson Airplane” in 1972 and recorded the albums along with the Airplane fiddler Papa John Creach. Hot Tuna got split up in 1978 as Casady left to form the new band “SVT”. Jorma Kaukonen continued and released his second solo album “Jorma” in 1979.

Jorma Kaukonen formed the band “Vital Parts”, which included bassist Denny DeGorio and drummer Bob Steeler and released the album “Barbeque King” in 1980 on RCA Records. The album failed to satisfy his fans and the sales of the album dropped down. Casady reunited with Kaukonen and reformed Hot Tunes in the late 1980s.

Jorma Kaukonen was named 54th greatest rock guitarist of all time and 16th greatest acoustic guitarist by “Rolling Stone”.
