AEROSMITH star JOE PERRY, CHEAP TRICK star RICK NIELSEN and members of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's E STREET BAND have formed a supergroup with country maverick HANK WILLIAMS JR to pay tribute to American football. The unnamed group, which also features fiddler CHARLIE DANIELS and THE ROOTS star ?UESTLOVE, has recorded several versions of Williams' ALL MY ROWDY FRIENDS ARE HERE ON MONDAY NIGHT, which will be used as the theme to US cable sports channel ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL coverage later this year (06).

Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora will be heard on the b-side of the debut single from American Idol runner-up Bo Bice. Sambora played guitar on 'Vehicle', a cover of an Ides of March hit from 1970, which will be the b-side to Bice's debut 'Inside Your Heaven'. Both songs were produced by Desmond Child who also produced and wrote songs for Bon Jovi.
Simon Fuller's 19 Recordings label will release the song through Sony-BMG on June 21.
