Dan Donegan is the guitarist for the American Band Disturbed. He was born on 1st of August 1968 in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Dan loves his long hair and would not give it away for anything. When he was a teen, his Dad got him a job in his fathers construction work. It was mandatory to cut his hair for construction work. However, Dan Donegan had a better idea. Dan got himself a wig and hid his hair behind it. Donegan’s dad was also not able to find this out. Later, his dad himself let him have his long hair.
Dan Donegan formed his first band called Vandal.
Some of the gigs that Dan uses are a Digitech “The Weapon”. This pedal was designed by Digitech for him. He also uses a Digitech Whammy Pedal, Digitech Metal Master – A Distortion pedal. It has also been reported that he uses a lot more effect pedals like the BBE Sonic Maximizer, Boss PH-2 Super Phaser, an volume pedal from Ernie Ball and a Dunlop Wah crybaby. Dan Donegan relied on Marshall amplifications on his initial days for Disturbed. Dan has two children. Maya his daughter and Justin his son.
